this 48 y/o bear went to Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado where I still have fond memories and had the time of my life on weekends to Santa Fe. My good buds back then were Tom Jackson, Steve Otopalik, Helen (Jamie) Douglass - we were the rat pack of that college, and basically unseprable. We remaind in contact with each other until I lost my job with Hibernia Bank in New Orleaans and moved to San Jose, CA to live with my sister. Not only was she a raving bitch but a card carrying member of unrecoveed alcoholics. Sis outed me to my parents when my mom was dying of colon cancer. I also took care of my dad during the last two years of his life before he died from COPD, which I can assure you was not an easy death.
I am currently facing dialysis due to a congental problem that finally surfaced in my mid 40's but the nephrologist is pretty sure I will get on the transplant list. I have had procrit shots every two weeks for the last year to keep me from getting worse due do the anemia that is inhernet with this disorder. For anyone who wants to know, I am in stage 5 renal failure any my creatnine level runs about 5.2 as of my last blood test which eqautes to a GFR of 13.
